Billing Terms
Last updated September 18, 2026
1. What This Covers
This page explains, in plain terms, how billing actually works on Skyfalke Connect: applicable taxes, how renewal and payment retries work, and how to cancel. It supplements, and does not replace, the billing clause in our Terms of Service.
It applies to paid workspace plans (Starter, Growth, Business), the Voice add-on ($15 per voice agent per month), and prepaid wallet top-ups for call minutes and WhatsApp messages.
2. Applicable Taxes
Tax is calculated based on the country registered to your workspace, using tax rates we configure and keep current for the jurisdictions we operate in (e.g. VAT, GST, or a local sales tax, where applicable).
If no tax rate applies to your registered country, no tax is added; you only pay the listed plan or add-on price.
Some jurisdictions require a tax identification number to be on file before tax can be correctly calculated or a compliant invoice issued; where that applies, we will ask for it during checkout.
Tax is shown as a separate line item before you confirm a charge, and again on the receipt/invoice issued after payment.
3. Renewal
Paid plans and the Voice add-on auto-renew for the same billing interval you chose (monthly or annual) at the then-current price, charged automatically to your saved payment card.
We email the workspace admin(s) a heads-up 7, 3, and 1 day before each renewal, showing the amount and the card that will be charged.
If there is no card on file when a renewal is due, we will tell you in that reminder rather than let the renewal fail silently.
4. If a Renewal Payment Fails
If the automatic renewal charge is declined, we retry it once a day for a grace period (3 days by default) while your workspace keeps working normally.
You can also trigger an immediate retry yourself from Settings → Billing once you have fixed or replaced the card, instead of waiting for the next automatic attempt.
If payment still has not gone through once the grace period ends, the workspace is locked (not deleted) until billing is resolved. Access is restored automatically, immediately, the moment a renewal charge succeeds, with no need to contact support.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancelling does not end your access immediately; your plan keeps working at full capability through the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
At the end of that period, no further charge is made and your workspace automatically moves to the free tier rather than being suspended or deleted.
There is no prorated refund for the unused portion of a billing period you cancel partway through.
You can undo a pending cancellation at any time before the period ends, from the same billing page; your plan simply keeps renewing as normal.
Cancelling a workspace plan does not automatically cancel purchased Voice seats or draw down your prepaid call/messaging wallet balance; those are managed separately from Settings → Billing.
6. Usage-Based Charges
Call minutes and WhatsApp conversations are billed from a prepaid wallet balance, topped up in advance. These are not part of the recurring plan/add-on renewal described above, and are not affected by cancelling your plan.
Wallet top-ups are one-time purchases: they do not expire and are not automatically replenished unless you explicitly enable that.
