Sent, delivered and read ticks

What the ticks on your WhatsApp messages mean, and what to do when a message fails.

  • One grey tick: sent to WhatsApp.
  • Two grey ticks: delivered to the customer's phone.
  • Two blue ticks: read (only if the customer has read receipts on).
  • Red warning: the message failed. Tap it to see why and what to do.

If a number is marked Not reachable on WhatsApp, it may not use WhatsApp or may have blocked your business. The label clears automatically when they message you.
